In Great Need of Volunteers!

Hello everyone,
Spooktacular is only 10 days away and I am still looking for volunteers 😰. We cannot do this with out you. For those of you that have reached out, thank you! if you haven’t, consider giving us a hand with this fantastic event, it is truly the biggest and best event in town and you will have lots of fun.

Volunteer at the Best Halloween Event in Salmon Arm!
The 26th Spooktacular is on October 19 & 20, all shifts are from 4:00 to 9:00 pm, except for Parkers & Pointers (see details below). Please note that the number of volunteers needed is per day. There will be pizza, hot chocolate & Timbits for the volunteers, as well as 5 draws each night with prizes from The Yukon Smash, Starbucks & Anvil Coffee Collective.
Positions available:
🎃 Gate – looking for 1 volunteer for Saturday, October 19 to work alongside other volunteers welcoming guests to the event and collecting admission.
🎃 Parkers & Pointers – looking for 8 volunteers to work alongside staff, directing visitors to their parking spot. Shift is from 3:00 to 8:00 pm.
🎃 Fortune Teller Usher – looking for 1 volunteer to be at the door of the Fortune Teller Shop, welcoming guests and letting them through when it is their turn to see the Mystical Fortune Teller.
🎃 Face Painting Station – looking for 1 volunteer. Materials will be provided; just bring your imagination!
🎃 Craft & Colouring Station – looking for 2 volunteers to manage the craft & colouring station.
🎃 Midway Games – looking for 2 volunteers for Saturday, October 19 to play carnival style games with the young visitors and give away candy.
🎃 Trail Monitors– looking for 3 volunteers to monitor the Spook Trail, this is a position where volunteers are more “behind the scenes” making sure visitors are moving along the trail and Spooks are being Spooks. If you want to spook a few people you are welcome to do it, but the main job as a trail Monitor is to make sure everything on the trail is ok and everyone is safe.
🎃 Trail Spooks – looking for volunteers to dress in a scary costume costume and act their part to add to everyone’s experience!
🎃 Take Down – looking for volunteers to help with the takedown starting on October 21. Takedown will take place Monday to Friday starting at 10:00 am.
