	Volunteer at the BIGGEST Halloween Event in Town
	Spooktacular

Be part of the biggest Halloween event in Salmon Arm!

The 26th. Spooktacular is on October 19 & 20, all shifts are from 4 to 9 pm. There will be pizza, hot chocolate and Timbits for the volunteers, as well as 5 draws each night with prizes from The Yukon Smash, Starbucks & Anvil Collectable.

Positions available:

Set Up - It takes a village to set up for Spooktacular; looking for volunteers to help with the set up starting on October 2 to 18. Set up will take place Monday to Friday starting at 9:30 am. Some of the things that we will be working on are scenes & props (electric chair, witches, tombstones, etc.), spider webs, Haunted House, Spook Trail, Pumpkin Trail, Fortune Teller, Midway Games, Crafts & Face Painting Stations, and much more! Let me know if you can help up any of these days.

For the days of the event - Saturday, October 19 & Sunday, October 20, ALL shifts are from 4:00 to 9:00 pm. unless stated different in the description. Please note that the number of volunteers needed is per day.

Gate – looking for 1 volunteer for Sunday, October 20 to work alongside other volunteers welcoming guests to the event and charging admission.
Parkers, Pointers & Traffic Control – looking for 8 volunteers to work alongside Bruce & Jesse, directing visitors to their parking spot. Shift is from 3:00 to 8:00 pm.
Midway Games – looking for 3 volunteers to play old-fashioned games with the young visitors and give away candy.
Craft & Colouring Station – looking for 4 volunteers to manage the craft & colouring station.
Face Painting Station –looking for 3 volunteers. Materials are provided; just bring your imagination!
Storybook Path – looking for 4 volunteers. This interactive trail for younger visitors Focuses on Nursery Rhymes, Riddles and Stories, on each station the young visitors will have to answer a riddle, give the secret word or fish out of a barrel!
Fortune Teller Usher – looking for 1 volunteer to be at the door of the Fortune Teller Shop, welcoming guests and letting them through when it is their turn to see the Mystical Fortune Teller.
Trail Monitors – looking for 4 volunteers to monitor the Spook Trail, keeping groups close together and moving at a steady pace.
Trail Spooks – looking for volunteers to dress in costume and act their part to add to everyone’s experience on the Spook Trail!
Take Down – looking for volunteers to help with the takedown starting on October 21. Takedown will take place Monday to Friday starting at 10:00 am.
