We regretfully announce the cancellation of the 25th Annual Harvest Celebration at R.J. Haney Heritage Village & Museum, scheduled for Sunday, September 8, 2024.

This decision was not made lightly. The Harvest Celebration has been a cornerstone event in our community for 25 years, bringing together local businesses, vendors, and attendees to savour the rich flavours and cultural heritage of the Shuswap. However, despite strong ticket sales and our excitement for this milestone celebration, we faced an unprecedented challenge in securing vendor participation this year. Many of our trusted vendors have expressed difficulties in staffing their booths for the event, which would ultimately compromise the quality and value of the experiance we are committed to delivering to our guests.

In previous years, our Harvest Celebration has successfully brought together a diverse group of vendors and attracted a large number of attendees, creating a vibrant atmosphere of community engagement. However, this year, with a reduced number of vendors confirmed, we are concerned that the event might not meet the high standards our guests have come to expect. Our priority is to ensure that every attendee enjoys a full and enriching experience.

Full refunds will be issued promptly for those who have already purchased tickets. We deeply appreciate your enthusiasm for this event and apologize for any inconvenience this may cause. If you have any questions regarding the refund process, please do not hesitate to contact us at 250-832-5243.
