Join us for the milestone 25th Annual Harvest Celebration at R.J. Haney Heritage Village & Museum on Sunday, September 8, 2024, from 3:00– 6:00 pm. Savour the flavours of the Shuswap with a delightful medley of mouth-watering local cuisines from some of our region's finest restaurants, cafes, caterers, cideries, wineries, and breweries.

Tickets for this fall event are $36.00 and include three tasty sample tickets. Bring your appetite! Additional sample tickets can be purchased for $4.00 each at the Harvest Celebration, allowing you to try any food or beverage items offered. Everything is sample-sized so you can indulge in as many delectable treats as possible.

The Harvest Celebration is more than just a culinary delight. The Village will be beautifully decorated in vibrant fall colours, providing a picturesque backdrop for exploring the Village, Museum, and lovely gardens. Wander through the Bedford Pharmacy & Honey Lingford Photo Studio, The McGuire General Store, discover the charm of the 1910 Haney House, and more.

Experience the captivating "Broken Promises" and "Uprooted" exhibits at the Montebello Gallery until September 14. On loan from the Nikkei National Museum & Cultural Centre, "Broken Promises" explores the profound impact of dispossession on Japanese Canadians, detailing their lives before, during, and after WWII and their ongoing struggle for justice. "Uprooted" celebrates the resilience of Japanese Canadians who were displaced during WWII and forged new lives near Salmon Arm.

Enjoy live music from the local "Green Room" duo, featuring Elaine Holmes and Lawren Clark. Their blend of Latin, Folk, Jazz, and Pop influences will provide the perfect soundtrack for a relaxing Sunday afternoon.

Be sure to visit the silent auction table to bid on fantastic items donated by local businesses and individuals. The Harvest Celebration will also be your last chance to purchase raffle tickets, with an exciting prize of a Twin Anchors House Boat Vacation. The draw will be held at 5:30 pm during the celebration, with all proceeds supporting the Village's programs. With only 2000 tickets available, this is a rare opportunity!
