Rev Your Engines for the 23rd Annual Car Show at R.J. Haney Heritage Village!

We are thrilled to announce the 23rd Annual Car Show at R.J. Haney Heritage Village & Museum on Sunday, August 11, 2024! As the largest car show in the Shuswap, this event draws car collectors, enthusiasts, and spectators from across the region. Join us for a day of beautiful cars, great entertainment, and delicious food—fun for the whole family!

Event Details

• Date & Time: Sunday, August 11, from 10:00 am to 2:00 pm
• Location: R.J. Haney Heritage Village & Museum, 751 Highway 97B, Salmon Arm

Admission: Gate admission is $15.00. Kids 12 and under get in free, courtesy of the Shuswap Rotary Club.

Start Your Engines with a Hearty Breakfast: Enjoy a pioneer pancake breakfast served at the outdoor kitchen until 11:30 am. Later, savour a BBQ lunch with all the fixings starting at noon, or visit the licensed Sprig of Heather restaurant for a special lunch menu available from 10:00 am to 4:00 pm.

Live Music to Keep You Grooving: Enjoy the local duo Green Room, featuring Elaine Holmes and Lawren Clark. Their mix of original songs and creative mashups of pop, jazz, Latin, and blues will keep you singing and dancing throughout the day.

Cast Your Vote! Pick up a ballot in the Museum and vote for your favourite vehicles in the “People’s Choice Awards.”

• Antique Pre-1916
• Vintage Pre-1942
• American Stock Only to 1969
• American Stock Only 1970 and Up
• Modified Hot Rods and Custom Up to 1969
• Modified Hot Rods and Custom 1970 and Newer
• Foreign

First and second-place ribbons will be awarded in each class. Voting closes at 1:00 pm, with ribbons presented at 1:45 pm.

Showcase of Spectacular Vehicles: Last year, we had over 1,000 attendees and over 230 stunning vehicles on display. This year promises to be even bigger! Free registration and admission for show vehicles and drivers is from 7:30 am to 10:00 am. Each registered vehicle will receive a commemorative Car Show ribbon and a chance to win in the “People’s Choice Awards.”

The car show is a busy event, and we are encouraging show cars and visitors to approach R.J. Haney Heritage Village from the north on Highway 97 B and turn right into the Village.
