Hello everyone,
Thank you to all of you whom had volunteer so far this season!
We still have a few of openings for the next couple of weeks. Please take a look at the list below and let me know if you can give us a hand 😊
July 18 – Bill Laird’s Lunch.
- Bussers – looking for 3 volunteers from 12:30 to 2:30 pm.
- Kitchen helper – looking for 1 volunteer on July 17 from 10am to 1pm.
Dinner Theatre:
- Food plating & Bussing – Looking for volunteers for July 21, 26 & 28 from 5:45 to 9:00pm.
- Usher – looking for 1 volunteer for July 26 and 31 from 6:30 to 8:30pm. As an usher, you use the golf cart to take guests who need assistance from the handicap parking lot to the Amphitheatre.
- Kitchen helper – looking for volunteers to help Deb in the kitchen from 9:30 to 12:00 pm on July 17, 21 & 28. One volunteer is needed each day.
August at a glance
August 3 – Anniversary Dinner
- Bussers – looking for 3 Bussers from 5:30 to 8:00pm
August Dinner Theatre:
- Food plating & Bussing – Looking for volunteers for August 1, 2, 4, 6, 9, 11, 15, 16, 18, 21, 23 & 25 from 5:45 to 9:00pm.

August 11 – Car Show
- Aug 9 – looking for 2 volunteers to help set up the grilling station, pop up tents & stage starting at 10am
Aug 11 – Event day
- Parkers, looking for 7 volunteers per shift. First shift from 7:15 to 11:00 am. Second shift from 10:45am to 2:15pm.
- Gate keepers, looking for 3 volunteers per shift. First shift from 7:15 to 11:00 am. Second shift from 10:45am to 2:15pm.
- Car Registration, looking for 3 volunteers from 7:30 to 10:30am.
- Pancake breakfast, looking for 3 volunteers to Plate Food and 1 volunteer to hand out juice, pop or coffee cups. Both shifts are from 8:15 to 11:45am.
- BBQ lunch, looking for 1 volunteer to work the BBQ from 11:00am to 2:00pm. 1 volunteer to handle cash, 1 to hand out juice, pop or coffee cups and 3 to plate food from 11:30am to 2:15pm.
- Ice cream & pop station x2 p/shift. Morning shift from 10am to 12:15pm. Afternoon shift from 12:00 to 2:15pm.
- House Sitters, looking for 1 volunteer for the afternoon shift from 12:45 to 3:00pm.
- Bussers for the Sprig of Heather restaurant, looking for 2 volunteers from 10am to 2pm.
- Take down & clean up, looking for volunteers to help with clean up starting at 3pm.
Aug 14 – Shuswap Children’s FLY group
- House Sitter, looking for 1 volunteer from 11:30am to 2:00pm
August 29 – Burger & Jazz
- Parkers, looking for 2 volunteers from 4:30 to 5:30pm.

The prize for our next draw is:
2 Heavy-duty Camping Chairs, folding table with cup holders & 4 Frank’s Campfire Sticks. With a retail price of $320.00
The chairs and table are high-quality, great for any outdoor activity, with steel frame and 600D polyester material; they are lightweight and come with carrying bag. Volunteer between June 10 and July 31. Every 3 shifts will give you one entry.
Worry there aren't enough event dates for you to volunteer before July 31?
Sign up for shifts in upcoming events and/or Dinner Theatre shifts during August. Yes, you are reading it correctly, when you sign up for a shift on an upcoming event, we will count it as a volunteered shift, because we know you love us and won’t let us down 😊. There is no limit on how many entries you can have.
The draw will be on Monday, August 5, 2024. The winner will be contacted by phone.
