"Community Spirit in Action: Annual Work Bee at R.J. Haney Heritage Village"

Lend a Hand, Make a Difference

Annual Work Bee

Get ready to roll up your sleeves and be part of something special! Join us on April 27, 2024, from 9 am to 2 pm for our Annual Work Bee at R.J. Haney Heritage Village. This event isn't just about tasks. It's about community spirit and coming together to prepare our Village for the upcoming season.

Partnering with the Shuswap Rotary Club, we're excited to host this collaborative effort. It's a chance to connect with fellow community members, meet the Haney Staff, and contribute to the preservation of our local heritage. Whether you're a seasoned volunteer or new to the scene, your participation is invaluable.

But it's not all work and no play! As a token of our appreciation, lunch will be provided by the Rotary Club. Picture yourself enjoying a delicious meal surrounded by like-minded individuals, all united in a common goal.

The Work Bee isn't just about ticking off tasks. It's about fostering a sense of pride and ownership in our community. By lending your time and energy, you're helping to ensure that R.J. Haney Heritage Village remains a welcoming haven for visitors from near and far.

So mark your calendars, grab your gloves, and join us for a day of camaraderie, hard work, and shared purpose. Let's make this year's Work Bee the best yet!

To sign up for the Work Bee, email Ale at volunteer@salmonarmmuseum.org or for more information, call 250-832-5243.

Your participation is appreciated and essential to the Village's success.
