Haney Heritage Village & Museum is hitting the road for Heritage Week, and we want you to join us for an incredible Family Fun Day at The Mall at Piccadilly on Saturday, February 24! Heritage Week Theme: Layer by Layer 🎨📖 This year's Heritage Week theme, "Layer by Layer," encourages us to dive deeper into the rich tapestry of our community's history. We invite you to be part of this exciting exploration, uncovering the unique stories that shape the past, present, and future of the place we proudly call home. Volunteer Opportunities on Family Fun Day: 🌈🤝 We have a variety of activities planned, and we need your help to make them truly special. Here are some volunteer positions and shifts available: • Official Haney Photographer: Shift:10:00 am - 3:00 pm 📸 If you're as excited as we are, want to sign up, or have any questions, reply to this email or call us at the Village at 250-832-5243. Your enthusiasm and support mean the world to us, and we can't wait to celebrate Heritage Week together, layer by layer! Heritage Week Activities February 19-24, 2024: 🎉📆 Online Auction: Get ready for our fourth annual online auction! Bidding opens on Monday, February 19, at 9 am and closes on Saturday, February 24, at 3 pm. Visit this link to explore amazing items generously donated by local businesses, organizations, and individuals. Online Family Fun and Contests: Participate in Heritage Week online contests from February 19-24. Visit our website for rules and information. Share your experiences on social media using #haneyheritagevillage for a chance to win fabulous prizes! Workshops and Displays: Explore Heritage Week displays and interactive workshops at the Mall at Piccadilly from February 22-24. Family Fun Day Saturday, February 24: 28th Annual Best of the Shuswap Pie Baking Contest: 🥧🎉 Calling all bakers! Join the mouthwatering "28th Annual Best of the Shuswap Pie Baking Contest." Drop off your homemade pie on Saturday between 10:00 am and 11:00 am at centre court in The Mall at Piccadilly. Don't miss the lively "Best of the Shuswap Pie Auction" starting at 12:00 pm.
