Fall is in the air. Join R.J. Haney Heritage Village & Museum, the Shuswasp's largest heritage destination, as a vendor and showcase your business at the 24th Annual "Best of the Shuswap Harvest Celebration" on Sunday, September 10, 2023, from 3:00-6:00 pm.

Space is limited, there is no cost to you, and we profit share with you! To book your kiosk for Harvest Celebration, please call 250-832-5243 or reply to this email.

Last year over 180 ticket holders enjoyed the fabulous samples at this event.

• Menu Planning: Samples provided at your table should reflect a value of $4.00 each. Guests receive three coupons with their purchased tickets to redeem for samples of their choice. Additional coupons are available for purchase at Harvest Celebration for $4.00 each. Remember, we are fundraising for the Village, and we want to encourage our guests to purchase more tickets and sample your fantastic food and beverages, so please do not over-size your portions.

• How Many Samples: Approximating the food each vendor should prepare is always tricky. However, according to past years' records, we estimate that each vendor should have approximately 200 food samples ready. Please prepare for the event accordingly by ensuring that your samples are easy to serve and are suited to the event format.

• Set-Up: Harvest Celebration participants start at 11:00 am on Sunday, September 10 and should be completed by 2:00 pm. R.J. Haney Heritage Village will pre-assigned 8 or 6 ft dressed tables and provide the plates, cutlery, wine and beer glasses and coffee cups. Please check with me or bring it yourself if you don't see what you need on this list. You are encouraged to bring decorations, signage, and promotional materials for your table.

• Visitors Arrive: The gates will open to guests at 3:00 pm, and the event runs until 6:00 pm.

• Profit Share or donating your coupons back to the Village? Once again, we offer you the choice of donating the value of the redeemed coupons at your kiosk ($4.00) back to R.J. Haney Heritage Village. A charitable, tax-deductible receipt will be issued to you. Or profit share and a cheque will be mailed to you representing a value of $2.00 per coupon turned in at your kiosk.

• Silent Auction: Participants are asked to donate an item to the silent auction table. If you know what you are bringing and can let Tara know beforehand, we can pre-write your bidding sheet. Or you can drop your donation to the volunteer at the silent auction table when you arrive at Harvest Celebration.

• Specific requirements: Electric power? Ice at your table? Any other needs? Let us know.

As a non-profit organization, R.J. Haney Heritage Village & Museum runs on generous support and donations from the community, local businesses, visitors to the park, and special events.

Your participation at Harvest Celebration shows your strong commitment to the past, and you are investing in the Village's future.
