You are invited to join R.J. Haney Heritage Village & Museum for a community party! Help us celebrate the Salmon Arm Museum’s 60th Anniversary and the Grand Opening of the completed exhibits in the Montebello Building.
This event is fun for the whole family. Join us for a day of old fashion games like sack races and tug of war, visit Chelsea’s petting zoo or wander the Village full of interactive demonstrations and displays.
Come early and enjoy a delicious pancake breakfast, live music entertainment, grab a burger or hotdog from the BBQ tent or visit the Sprig of Heather restaurant for our lunch special. Join the celebration and explore Salmon Arm’s rich history.
Highlights of the day:
10:00 am - Grand Opening of the Salmon Arm Observer, the Demers and Tillman Pool Hall and Barbershop, the Lingford and Honey Photo Studio, the Bank of Hamilton and the Bedford Pharmacy
12:00 pm- 1:30 pm – Patrick Ryley with Hank on the Wagon
1:30 pm – Grand Opening of the Children’s Museum and Discovery Centre and outdoor play area
1:45 pm – Birthday Cake sponsored by Askew’s Foods
