2022 End of Season

In Great Need of Volunteers

  

Hello volunteers,

As you might know, the student staff is returning to school, which means we are losing a big part of the staff that do our day-to-day jobs. Therefore, we are in great need of volunteers for the next couple of weeks for the following positions:

Admission Kiosk – being our main priority; the volunteer at the Kiosk will run the till, handle cash, work the POS machine and hand out wrist bands to visitors. Training will be provided.
We need volunteers for the following dates:
September 1, 2, 4, 8, 9, 10, 11, 15, 16 & 17 - the morning shift is from 10:00 am to 1:00 pm and the afternoon shift is from 1:00 to 4:15 pm
September 3 & 7 - we need volunteers for the afternoon shift from 1:00 to 4:15 pm

Children’s Museum – Discover with our visitors the Shuswap Environment and our relation with it. Training will be provided. We need volunteers for the following dates:
September 1, 2, 7, 8, 9, 14, 15 & 16 from 11:00 am to 3:00 pm 

September Events

Thursday, September 8 - we are looking for a volunteer to:
Pour Wine from 4:15 to 7:00 pm

Thursday, September 15 - 2 volunteers to:
Assist the Buffet & Bussing from 5:30 to 8:00 pm

HARVEST CELEBRATION 

We are looking for volunteers for the following positions:

Saturday, September 10 – 2 or 3 volunteers to help to skirt the tables, starting at 10am

  
Sunday, September 11 – day of the event
Parkers & Traffic Control – 4 volunteers from 2:30 to 5:30 pm
Food Tickets Sale – 3 volunteers from 3:00 to 6:00 pm
Raffle Tickets Sale – 1 volunteer from 3:30 to 5:30 pm
Sample Tent – 2 volunteers from 3:00 to 6:00 pm
Bussing – 6 volunteers from 3:00 to 7:00 pm
Tear Down & Clean-Up – 4 volunteers starting at 6:00 pm
